I’ve had multiple cosmetic procedures done, and went to more than a dozen consults with plastic surgeons from Beverly Hills to Calabasas. Given my experience in this industry, I can say Dr. Shervin Aminpour is one of the top facial comedic surgeons in the business. At the West Hills Surgical Center, the nurses there will tell you how fine a surgeon they consider his work. It is true, he takes his time, and there is minimal bleeding and very minimal bruising; regardless of ethnicity.Dr. Aminpour performed an upper eye tuck and a neck lift to repair an unraveled previous neck lift, at the same time he nicely cleaned up a disfiguring surgical scar on my neck. Other surgeons said there was little that could be done to improve my existing neck and jaw line, however Dr. Aminpour proved them wrong.
He has the hands of an artistic sculptor, and has the confidence of a prizefighter without the arrogance that you will find with so many other top surgeons in Los Angeles. His prices are fair. He has traveled extensively to help indigent cases in Latin America and Africa.
Dr. Aminpour did everything he promised. Post surgery, the results of my neck and eye lift are amazing. I didn’t expect the ultra dramatic results I got from my operation; but it was everything and more I could have hoped for. Once I adapted to my new look, it literally transformed me.
It has been 6 months since my surgery and I am now fully recovered. Dr. Aminpour made my eyes look twice as big as they were before surgery. I forgot that putting on eye make-up is such a fun thing to do. I am no longer self conscious about my scar and sagging neck; now I confidently wear chokers, necklaces, u-necks etc.
I highly recommend Dr. Aminpour; he truly is a genius and a master at his craft.
Perhaps the only people that have surpassed my good judgment of Dr. Aminpour are his kind staff. Iris, does a great job keeping morale of the office techs high. Audiologist Celeste Hernandez is also exemplary at her profession.

Dr. Aminpour performed surgeries on two of my children and we were extremely happy with Dr. Aminpour's wonderful bed side manner and surgical abilities as well. My children were so well cared for by his entire practice and we would recommend Dr. Aminpour in the future as a highly competent and excellent physician. We were really lucky to have the good fortune of having our children under his care. Not only did my children heal well, but they had minimal scars after surgery as well. Dr. Aminpour gave me a Botox injection in Jan. of 2012 on my forehead, I have had great results! Also as a result of my Botox I no longer suffer from Migraine headache's... I highly would reccomend Dr.Aminpour.Posted By: celeste

Around four weeks ago, I was first seen at a local Urgent Care center here in the San Fernando Valley for what was the sudden and great discomfort in my left ear. Needless to say, what I thought was something that was going to be easily fixable with a couple of days worth of antibiotics, ended up turning into a month long ordeal of increasing pain and absolute terror on my part.
Finally, on my fourth visit to the Urgent Care center they offered me the name of an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist, Dr. Shervin Aminpour. And, from that one gesture on their part came the beginning of my blessing.
I called Dr. Aminpour's office that same day. My quivering voice was greeted on the phone by the most kind and gentle woman. For the first time in a month I felt as if there was going to be a light at the end of this tunnel and if the light had bells attached to it....I'd be able to hear them loud and clear with both of my ears! This extraordinary woman got me in to see the Doctor that same. day.
The atmosphere in Dr. Aminpour's office is so light and comforting. The immediate sense of security that I felt in knowing that these were good people that really cared for their patients was overwhelming.
When I went in to see Doctor, his warmth and gentle character was clear to me. He listened patiently to my concerns. He was reassuring in that he would do all that he could to make me well. And, he sealed it all with a smile that made me feel as if I had him as my physician for years. I was no longer scared. Instead, I was eager to follow his direction and be the best patient that I could be in order to get well.
One simple prescription later, (thanks to Dr. Aminpour), what two other Doctors could not fix in a month...was fixed in six days; the length of time it took to finish the one prescription he had given me to take out from the pharmacy.
Today, was my first follow-up visit and my left ear no longer feels like it is submerged under forty feet of water. My equilibrium is completely restored and so is my big smile!
Thanks to my Dr. Shervin Aminpour, I am free to laugh again and it feels great!

"When I needed to fix my fractured nose, my HMO referred me to Dr. Aminpour. At the first visit, I read a brief bio that outlined his qualifications and highlighted his experience with facial reconstruction/plastic surgery. I was intrigued. I decided to ask him about improving the function of my nose(deviated septum obstructed nose breathing) and possibly fine-tuning the appearance of my nose- in addition to repairing the original fracture. I had always been skeptical of plastic surgery, for fear of a permanent, potentially unfavorable result. However, after my consult with Dr. Aminpour, my hesitance was gone. He is knowledgeable, confident, and really made me feel like he had my best interests at heart. I couldn’t be happier with my results! My breathing has improved, and my nose looks completely natural. I am so happy with Dr. Aminpour.He is very knowledgeable and and really cares!!!!! I could not be happier with Dr. Aminpour.Dr. Aminpour made me feel extremely comfortable with the surgery I was undergoing. Not only is he a nose/throat doctor but he is also a plastic surgeon. I had my deviated septum corrected as well as the lump on my nose taken off.What made me feel most comfortable with him was he was all about making my nose look as natural as possible. When I saw my new nose after the cast was taken off, I cried. I couldn't have pictured it better myself. Not one person could even tell that I had had a nose job. I have never been happier. He is very professional and also has a sense of humor which put me at ease considering I was going under for surgery and making a permanent change to my face. I found Dr Aminpour through a referral from my primary care physician. It was a very good experience from start to finish. I found his staff to be very polite and helpful. Dr Aminpour is very knowledgeable. He explained the entire process and answered all of my questions as it related to my procedure. A couple of years ago I had my tonsils removed from the West Hills hospital and they did a wonderful job. Everyone that took care of me was really friendly and professional. Later on I found out that I had a deviated septum and that if I had surgery I could breathe a lot better. My nose was also a little crooked which kind of bothered me. My mother mentioned to me that the doctor who removed my tonsils also did rhinoplasty surgery. So we went in one day and instead of seeing my previous doctor we met Dr. Aminpour. After leaving his office that day I was really confident that I had gone to the right person. My surgery went very well and the recovery was nothing. I had very minor bruisingon my face which lasted only a couple of days and the swelling and congestion lasted only a week. The whole procedure couldn't have gone any better and I am very happy with my nose. I highly recommend Dr. Aminpour to anyone who wants to have some work done on their nose.Posted By: BW
If I read a "gushing" recommendation, I tend to view it with suspicion. I rarely take the time to write any reviews, except adverse ones. My philosophy is "no news is good news." You are about to read a "gushing" review about Dr. Shervin Aminpour.I have rarely needed medical attention. I am lucky enough to have lived in good health and expect to do so for many more years. As I passed 50, that small tumor on my neck continued to grow. My simple Lipoma, "Voldemort" as my wife called it, was just too large now.My HMO physician referred me to Dr. Seltzer, whom I found to be a seasoned, experienced ear, nose and throat specialist. He examined me and scheduled the surgery. Some weeks later, I received a curious phone call stating that Dr. Seltzer would be retiring and Dr. Aminpour, a new physician, would now be performing the surgery. Frankly, I had my doubts. We all want the best, most experienced, medical care provider.At the pre-surgery examination with Dr. Aminpour, I had the opportunity to read his Bio and discovered his extensive real world experience. In addition to ear, nose and throat, I discovered he was an experienced, major trauma, facial reconstructive cosmetic surgeon! Geez, and all I needed was Lipoma removal.Post-surgery, I could not be more pleased. Not only are there no scars, I learned that during the Lipoma surgery, significantly more difficult than first expected, he had to carefully remove adipose tissue near critical motor nerve centers in my neck. So, it was much more than a simple Lipoma removal. Frankly, I was lucky enough to have an experienced surgeon taking care of me.I hope that if you are in need of any medical services anywhere around your head, schedule a visit with Dr. Aminpour.
